In 2012, God arranged for Lexie to visit Kenya where she ministered in a number of churches holding summer Vacation Bible Schools. Lexie fell in love with the people of Kenya during that trip and surrendered her life to missions in Africa.
In 2014, George and Lexie met each other at International Baptist College and Seminary in Chandler, Arizona. They began dating with no knowledge of the burden for Africa God was instilling separately in each of their hearts. Soon after, they fell in love.
In 2015, God arranged for George to visit Kenya and preach at Zion Road Baptist Church in Nairobi. During this trip, the Lord burdened George with winning Kenyans to the Gospel, planting churches, training Christians for the ministry, and instilling a heart for missions in others. Later that summer, George and Lexie were married and dedicated themselves to missions.
In 2016, God sent George and Lexie to Kenya as a married couple. It was then that God began confirming their burden for reaching Kenya with the Gospel. They spent two weeks in Kenya, presenting the Gospel at public schools to over 2,000 students in two weeks. At the end of the trip, God convinced the Binoka family that He was calling them to Kenya.
In 2017, KBM was founded by director George Binoka.
