God has blessed. God has done so much. He has provided. He has encouraged us. He is clearly guiding and protecting.

We are very excited to report that we are at 90% of our support. We have been promised and partly received over half of our passage funds. Our travel schedule is full until the start of summer. God and His people have been so kind in their treatment of us. Graduation may be at the end of this semester, Lord willing. Ordination is on the schedule for May 16.

On the family front, Maylee is a healthy, growing toddler. My wife feels much better since the administration of some prescribed and homeopathic treatments. Lexie will also be getting a sleep study to better understand her sleeping habits. God is opening door after door for our family’s health. We pray to be in Kenya as early as October should the Lord so desire.

To God be the glory. We mean it. His grace has brought us here, and it will lead us home to Kenya. It is so comforting to leave everything in the Father’s hands. It is so encouraging to see the truth of the Scriptures come alive before your eyes. He does own the cattle on a thousand hills. He heals. He draws near to us when we draw near to Him.

Thank you for all of you who pray. Your prayers are making the difference in our ministry. Thank you for the generous financial support. Thank you for letting us learn from all of you. Thank you for all the encouraging notes and support. Please pray that the Lord of the harvest send us laborers into the field of Kenya, which is ready, white unto harvest.

In Christ,

Prayer Requests

  • Pray that God would bless the planting of the South Sudanese church and that God would bless the Gospel Safari groups coming the summer of 2020 and 2021 as we plan for them.
  • Pray for the people of East Africa as they face mass locust swarms that could result in deterioration of the economy and severe starvation, especially to the fragile country of South Sudan.
  • Please continue to pray for Lexie’s health. We are hoping a sleep study will give us answers on why Lexie has been unable to rest at night.
  • To be fully supported by May of 2020.
  • Pray that God would provide all the necessary documentation, visas, and approvals to move to Kenya this fall.
  • For strength to finish school and the spring’s travel. George is taking 10 credits in seminary.
